Food Trends Predictions 2015/16 with The Food People

The Food People launched their exclusive 2015/16 Food Trends Predictions event at the swanky Berkeley Hotel in London this week. Co founders Charles Banks and Wayne Edwards announced a tantalising number of food trends identified globally and touched upon how these trends would shape our experiences in the future.


Leading industry speakers were invited to the event, inspiring the attendees through demonstrating the application of these emerging trends within their specialisms.
Dr Ophelia Deroy, Sensory Expert from University of London delivered a thought provoking talk about the complete sensory experience.

Jane Kellock, fashion and colour guru, and founder of USP demonstrated the interplay between food and fashion, while Amelia Boothman, Director of Brand Strategy at 1HQ discussed how her insight team turn valuable trends into a meaningful brand advantage...

An inspirational menu was designed by the legendary chef Pierre Koffman to reflect the food and cuisine trends of the moment from Scandinavia, Korea, USA, South America and Persia. Esteemed culinary experts Judy Joo, Bruno Loubet, Claire Clark, William Curley, Brett Graham, and Neil Nugent all supported Pierre in the menu creation delivering a galvanising number of courses through out the event.


1HQ designed and produced a Food Trends book capturing the mega and sub trends predicated at the event. Each of the trends details the emerging trending cuisines and ingredients through illustrations. The easy to use book allows users to apply the trends into usable ideas for their organisation.
